Ingredients
1 stick butter1 box + 2 cups brown sugar
8 c boozy peaches (or regular ripe peaches)
1 t. Kosher salt
1/2 c half and half
Directions
- Rough chop peaches
- Melt butter over medium heat
- Add peaches and brown sugar and bring to simmer
- Add 1 t salt
- Add half and half
- Cook until lovely brown
- Put in glass jars, allow to cool to room temperature, and store in refrigerator. (If it cools too quickly, the butter will separate. If this happens, just microwave before serving.)
